Hometown sounds so cosy. Can't we say Paris is a bit of a hometown for all those who love the arts?!

I wonder who designed those lovely "snowflake" lights? They're so effective even during daylight.

How lovely! The stylish decorations are appropriately secular for this location, one of the most beautiful of so many fabulous locations in Paris.

Jane: that is a good question! In any case, each quartier determines and finances its own decorations.

Devoted Classicist: Thank you for your comment. Th place Vendome is particularly beautiful and harmonious spot. I hope to snap the place de la Concorde one evening; the decorations are very different and very pretty there too!

So nice to have a reporter in Paris! One does not have to squint one's eyes too much to see New Orleans.

ps Have you read Stealing Magnolias yet? You would be the perfect reviewer!
