Last show?

The robes were mostly black, the salon in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs
was donated, the audience deeply moved.

To one of the most sensitive and original of the couturiers,
good luck and may you rebound from these difficult times.

  1. a sad turn, I remember seeing picture of CL's apartment- riotously wonderful colors and masses of creativity- somewhere I hope I saved that article. la mariee is brilliance walking -my goodness, everything- opulence, symbolism, history, religion -all in a frock.I will save this photograph for inspiration. la

  3. I found this collection to be such an evocative symbol of his career- a rather subdued (for him) collection that was both incredibly elegant and deeply rooted in the whole history of fashion. I sincerely hope that someone finds a way to keep him designing.

  5. his work is essential to couture. his work keeps many highly skilled artisans and workshops and crafts going, I hope he makes it.
