The scale in the print, as much as its translucency, mutes the rectilinear repetition, giving full life to each individual block, and brings out the extravagant elegance in the iconic quadratically upholstered chair. Of course the pattern in the floor supports all this fundamentally.
I am always glad to see this 'difficult' but irrepressible chair used well. It is one of my favourite things. :)
I'm sure the photo stylist and photographer would be pleased to hear this shot treated with the respectful analysis of an artwork. To see takes truly looking.
